Do We Have a New Progressive Socialist Party in America Today?

A new Progressive Socialist Party now effectively replaces the old Democratic Party we have known in the past. That fact is evidenced in many ways. Consider the empty seats at their national convention when Sander’s supporters failed to embrace wholeheartedly Clinton as their party’s nominee. Consider how only through a front-loaded Super Delegate system and the help of a non-impartial Democratic National Committee hierarchy, could their establishment candidate Clinton probably even be nominated. Without Super Delegates and the Democratic National Committee, Sanders (the outsider) would be the likely presidential nominee of the new Progressive Socialist Party.

The end of the Democratic Party as we have known it was one of my ten surprising predictions made in my new book Great News for America, written in 2015 and launched in January 2016 before the primary season began.

Where Does the New Progressive Socialist Party Stack Up on the Top Issues?

The three major issues that generally make up the most important issues in any presidential election campaign are:

  • Peace (Ending or Avoiding War, plus Law an Order at Home)
  • Prosperity (Jobs, Economic Growth, Job and Economic Security)
  • Personality (of the Presidential Candidates, especially their relative Integrity, Optimism for the Future, Confidence, Caring, etc.)

If you want to read more about the 3 P’s above, please read my Ten Laws for Winning Presidential Elections written many years ago.

PEACE.  The peace issue takes the form of Americans’ great concern with global terrorism, illegal immigration, and law and order at home. This is clearly the Dominant Issue of the 2016 presidential campaign and the new Progressive Socialist Party is effectively ignoring the issue. They do not even acknowledge that the issue exists.

The peace issue is the major reason why Clinton will probably lose her bid for The White House.

PROSPERITY. The prosperity issue manifests itself this year in the lack of new, good jobs, 94+ million Americans of working age not employed, financial insecurity, low GDP growth that impacts the entire economy, and the inability of newer college grads to pay off their high college debt. The new Progressive Socialist Party answer is a job-killing higher minimum wage, increased taxes, increased regulations, and greater government spending (and hence, record-setting stratospheric National Debt never seen before). This program will not help economic growth or the average American. It’s a recipe for economic failure and a new major recession.

PERSONALITY. The new Progressive Socialist Party has selected for its nominee a person nationally known for questionable honesty and integrity. Her unfavorable numbers have recently hit their historic peak, but might still climb further as the campaign progresses.  Possibly of more significance, however, is that the American voters are angry, frustrated and upset with the Washington establishment. The new Progressive Socialist Party’s nominee is a member of the establishment that is being rejected this year.

How Will the Election Turn Out?

It appears that Trump and the new Trump Party (or Conservative Party) will defeat Clinton and the new Progressive Socialist Party easily.  This election will likely not be close at all.
